Advanced Dental Technology

Digital X-rays help us effectively diagnose and treat periodontal disease and decay in areas of the teeth that are challenging or impossible to see clinically. They illustrate bone height, bone defects, infection, root involvement, tartar, and decay.

Digital x-rays can also aid us in determining whether the disease is progressing or contained. Our digital radiographic system at Greenbrier allows for quick, on-screen reference to further your understanding and helps us answer any areas of concern that you may have. The system is more sensitive than dental X-ray film systems, so your exposure to X-rays would be cut up to about 90%. We’ll also show you large, color-enhanced images in real time so that you can see what we see. We want you to be able to fully grasp your condition and understand why we recommend possible treatments, if required.

Can my child see what the dentists see? At Greenbrier Family Dental, we use Intra-Oral Video and Photography to assist patients in being more active participants in their own dental care. We invite you to join us for a complete tour of all the possibilities for the care of your child’s mouth. Then, we’ll immediately print a photograph of any area(s) you would like to see what areas are doing well and what areas may need future attention.
